It's almost Easter!

Thank you to all the responses I got from the last post (When I was ranting about products being made not to last long!) I guess we all feel the same when it comes to purchasing things and having them go bad before your eyes! By the way, I'm still trying to figure out this new computer - it has Windows Vista - the last one was Windows XP, and they are so different...it will take some getting used to!

Easter is around the corner, and I love this holiday, just as much as I love Christmas! The picture above is a little basket I put together with a couple of cute little ducklings that I found at a yard sale a long time ago.

Easter: The resurrection of Jesus Christ: It's so important, it's what life is all about. "I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end He will stand upon the earth" JOB 19:25 This verse comforts me, especially right now with all the turmoil around the world, and with what is happening to our beloved U.S.A. And He is there watching over all that is going on, with His plans for us. All I can say is trust in the Lord; "Be still and know that I am God."

Easter is also about being with family and friends, going to church services, and knowing that this is the way it should be. Since our children are all so far away, it is at holidays like this that I miss them so much more. The grandchildren, the cooking, eating and lots of family fun together. Well, I'm not going to get all teary eyed, and do the hand-waving thing...so I will just say "Have a great week, I love you all. You are all such a great support group!"

Hey! Sweet of you to stop by...I will eventually be putting prints in my Etsy shop. I haven't figured out all the details. (frame or not to frame, matt?...how to mail etc....limited editions etc.) Copyright & licensing agreements to look into. :) But yes...do hope to put images in soon.
Glad to hear all is well in your little corner!
Hope your week is wonderful...

Easter is one of my favorite holidays and I am fortunate to have my family near by. I'm about to get a new computer and I am not looking forward to all the work of moving everything and the setup. Have a wonderful Easter.

Easter is truly my favorite holiday -- although there are chicks and bunnies, the religious part is still the most important part. Chicks and bunnies are more spring and we can remember Easter for what it truly is!

Hi Marilyn - Thank you for this wonderful post. I love those little ducks in the basket. So cute. I'm trying to avoid Vista because I've heard it's hard to adjust to. Think I'll have to do it, though, one of these days since I'm looking at laptops and that seems to be what they all have. ~Adrienne~

Marilyn,
Those cute ducks are adorable. I love my sweet yellow birdies that I won from your giveaway. They are part of my Easter display. I have my little family with me, but we are away from the rest of the clan so we are going out to eat this year. Wishing you a Happy Easter! ~Cathy~
